Professor Hiroshi Matsuda is the Head of the Laboratory of Veterinary Molecular Pathology and Therapeutics, Division of Animal Life Science at the Institute of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. He is also a visiting Professor at the Juntendo University School of Medicine, Tokyo and former visiting Professor at Yale University School of Medicine, USA. After obtaining his DVM from Kitasato University, Professor Matsuda studied at the Department of Pathology, McMaster University, Canada. Thereafter, Professor Matsuda obtained his PhD at the graduate School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Osaka University, Japan. His research interest is molecular and immunopathology in allergic or inflammatory condition in horses and humans.
